the ttc are planning to raise the ttc from $2.75 to $3.00 and metropasses from $109 to $126. i think that isn't fair because majority of people in toronto use the ttc everyday and if they raise the fares, that's just too much. most people go on the ttc because it's cheap and affordable but if they raise the prices, i don't know how many people are going to use the ttc. i think they are doing this because a lot of people are using the ttc so it's only fair if they raise the prices. my cousin uses the ttc everyday and he has a metropass and i think it would be too much from his budget to buy a metropass since it's going to be more expensive soon. the ttc should think of those who use the ttc everyday and think about how much money they are using just using the ttc. it's only fair if they have the price of the fare to a reasonable one.
by the way, this is my last blog.

safety on the ttc is getting worse. on tuesday there was a fight in the train and there was a weapon involved. on wednesday there was a shooting at kennedy and eglinton and the people involved were found at kennedy station then later arrested. there should be more safety on the ttc because majority of the people in toronto use the ttc everyday and if we cannot be safe on the ttc then that really means danger is everywhere. there should be more people aware about this and that people should feel safe in the ttc because it is for community use. if we cannot be safe on the ttc, then why bother taking it. we should be aware of our surrondings and think about what is happening around us because anything can happen at anytime.

as of last week, the H1N1 shots are now available for the public but the problem is there is a shortage. not enough supplies are distributed so not everybody can recieve the shots. they are only giving the shots to pregnant women, infants under 5 and for people under 65 with chronic disease. they are available in certain places and possibly your family doctor. the H1N1 shot might be available to offices and schools because the disease is spreading fast. if the vaccines are given out fast, there wouldn't be a lot of line ups for people just getting the shot.

ontario just issued a new law for drivers. the new law is to not use your cellphone or any device while driving, you must use a hands fee device instead like a bluetooth. i think that this would be very useful considering that it would be safer for drivers. it will take some getting used to but it will benefit everybody. i hope that this new law will lower accidents on the road and can promote safe driving for everybody.

this is blog 3 of 4.
in this blog i will be talking about how the H1N1/swine flu vaccine is given out to other countries except for canada.
the H1N1 or the ever popular swine flu is gradually spreading as we speak and now there is a vaccine provided in order to be "away" from the flu but this vaccine is not yet available to canada. canada and the united states are of high risk of this vaccine but why is that, that the vaccine is not yet available in canada. we've already had a few deaths in parts of canada because of the flu. this vaccine is of high risk to women who are in their 30's. i think it's best if we have these vaccines available to us as soon as possible so we can prevent this flu to come into our system. we can't have this flu take over our lives so we really need this vaccine. other countries already have this vaccine but it's not as bad has the ones in north america. it would be best if they thought of the high risk countries instead of countries that aren't really that close to the flu.

this is blog 2 out of 4.
in this blog i will be talking about bus drivers and their behaviour.
today my friend witnessed something i personally don't think bus drivers are supposed to react or behave. my friend was on the bus going to school this morning and they got to st. clair to pick up students at the bus stop. since the bus was very full some people were passed the white line which you are not supposed to be infront of. the bus driver told everybody to move to the back of the bus so that they can let in more people onto the bus. everybody then did what they were told and moved to the back of the bus. the bus driver said "thank you. i just had to clear that out." then a passenger on the bus said "oh i feel you" meaning that she agrees with the bus driver. the bus driver took the expression the wrong way and thought it was an insult and started to swear and insult the passengers on the bus just because the girl said that she "feels him". some people got out of the bus because they didn't want to be a apart of the situation.
i don't think that the bus driver should've done that because he is supposed to respect the people on the bus like how the people on the bus are supposed to respect him. i think the bus driver went way to far on the expression and that he shouldn't of not said anything. the bus driver shouldn't of not put his problems onto the people on the bus because the passengers don't need to know that. bus drivers should be a little more nicer and think about the people that are on his bus.

hello there. i know i haven't blogged for almost a month so to make it up, i will be blogging 4 times today! so in this blog i will be talking about barack obama's award for the nobel peace prize.
i personally think that obama doesn't deserve that award. i like obama and everything i mean he's a great guy but i think it's too sudden for him to win such a big award. i mean he just became president about a year ago and he already got an award, FOR PEACE? what "peace" thing did obama do? he sent more troops to afghanistan! if obama was still president for a few more years and he did more things then i would think that he did deserve that award but for now i think we should just see what else obama will do through the coming years.
here is a link of what other people think about obama's award :
